We've misplaced our cover artist.

Sadly this is a voluntary and unpaid position.

Oh, and reprints are coming. Have you pre-ordered yet?

As some of you, particularly the Gallifrey Base users, may have noticed there are a selection of Doctor Who books being listed on Amazon and the Waterstones website for pre-order, with a release date of March 2011.

These books are:

Father Time by Lance Parkin
The Infinity Doctors by Lance Parkin
The Gallifrey Chronicles by Lance Parkin

Trading Futures by Lance Parkin
Blue Box by Kate Orman
The Year Of Intelligent Tigers by Kate Orman
Unnatural History by Kate Orman and Jonathan Blum
Seeing I by Jonathan Blum and Kate Orman
Vampire Science by Jonathan Blum and Kate Orman
So Vile A Sin by Kate Orman and Ben Aaronovitch

Speculation ran wild for months before Lance Parkin confirmed on Gallifrey Base that his books were being re-released.
No other authors have stepped forward with a statement at this time so it's hard to say what the status is with the Non-Lance Parkin titles, especially has some titles have disappeared over the last few weeks.
So, what do we do now?
Now we place our pre-orders, we visit the Random House website and tell them how happy we are about these reprints, we tell them about all the other reprints we want, we point them in the direction of this website.
We make a noise! We need to be heard!
If these reprints fail to sell there will not be others

Well actually it's a logo full stop.
It's kindly been designed by Jesse of AHiL designs.
And since I don't know how to stick a picture in the news posts you can find it on the About page and it'll soon be splashed all over the site.

I should point out though that it's not the finished article. Jesse was kind enough to provide several designs and asked which elements of each I prefered. The current logo is my clumsy attempt to join them all together in Paint. I'm sure Jesse will have a much more professional version with us soon.

Updates to the site are progressing slowly but surely.
I've added a page for Paul Cornell and Justin Richards collections.
I've also added an About page featuring a draft of our soon to be new logo.
There are a few other little things that need tweaked and then our major project kicks off: Raising awareness of the forthcoming Reprints from the BBC throughout Whodom.

After a prolonged silence from the Society we return with exciting news!

Individual reprints are being released of selected titles by the BBC!

More news to follow soon, right after I've brought the rest of the site up to date.

Don't touch that dial...
