After a prolonged silence from the Society we return with exciting news!

Individual reprints are being released of selected titles by the BBC!

More news to follow soon, right after I've brought the rest of the site up to date.

Don't touch that dial...

It has been brought to my attention that Waterstones online and Amazon UK are gearing up to release a selection of New Adventures by Kate Orman this February.

This is potentially really exciting news as it may mark a relaxation of the BBC regarding reprints.
I am currently attempting to verify this and find out how it came about.
In the mean time it would do no harm for all of you to Email these companies and express our combined interest.

And bear with me as I work out how Twitter works.....

We got a really positive review from Adi Tantimedh on his Look! It Moves! column over on Bleeding Cool News.

Adi has been really supportive of the project even before this article was published.
Bleeding Cool is worth checking out on a regular basis for general Who news and scoops.

Thanks again, Adi.

I'm closing off the Justin Richards poll at the end of today.
As the results stand the collection will include:

Sands of Time
The Burning
Demontage
Dreams of Empire
Grave Matter

Given the numbers thus far I don't expect that to change significantly (or at all) before the end of the day.

I apologise in advance, but I'm going to need to start collecting Emails off of members.
I need a way of confirming people are real after I got multiple applications from a single IP address claiming to be from different locations.

So, if you joined before the 8th of July 2010 can I ask you to resubmit your joining information?
Thanks and Sorry.

On a plus side, I'm going to try and start doing things like giving members Email news earlier than I post it on the website and try and work in the occasional cool extra.

Watch this space.

I was meant to post a link to Who One Limited.
Oops.

Going down the PoD we'll need an artist to help with cover art.

According to Ebury publishing who own parts of Virgin and BBC books it's the BBC that owns the rights to ALL the books.
They won't be publishing collections off their own back, but we are currently in discussions for a Print on Demand run!

Who One Ltd have agreed to publish a 500 run of books should we be able to obtain permission from whoever owns the rights.
